Thread/Zigbee Support: The Smart Radiator Thermostat supports both Thread and Zigbee protocols. In Thread mode, it enables direct integration with Matter-compatible ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and Home Assistant. Note: A Matter controller within the ecosystem and a Thread Border Router are required.In Zigbee mode, it offers unique Aqara features as well as Matter compatibility when connected to an Aqara hub. Requires an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub running firmware 4.3.8 or later.
Energy Savings: Heating is automatically turned off when an open door or window is detected by the Door and Window Sensor, or when no movement is sensed over an extended period by the Motion Sensor, helping to conserve energy. With geofencing enabled, it can pre-heat your home just before you arrive. You can also configure independent automation rules for multiple properties.
Precise Temperature Control: The Smart Radiator Thermostat W600 can receive temperature data directly from an Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor (e.g., the W100) positioned anywhere in the room (requires operation in Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home App). This allows the thermostat to respond to the actual ambient temperature of the entire space, not just the localized heat near the radiator, enabling precise whole-room regulation.
Smart Schedule:Create customized heating schedules with support for up to 7 time periods per day, programmable independently for each day of the week, and choose from 5 preset modes for personalized room‑by‑room control. Smart schedules are stored locally on the device and will continue to operate even without an internet connection. This feature requires Zigbee mode and is configured via the Aqara Home App.
Long Battery Life:The thermostat delivers up to 2 years of outstanding battery life, ensuring reliable performance with very little maintenance required. Enjoy consistent comfort while reducing environmental impact from frequent battery replacements. Note: The up to 2-year battery life is based on typical use, estimated at about 8 months of active operation per year in Thread mode. Actual lifespan may vary with usage conditions.
Broad Compatibility: The Smart Radiator Thermostat is compatible with up to 90% of European radiator valves and includes 6 adapters for Danfoss RAV/RA/RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini, M28×1.5, and Oventrop M30×1.5 systems. A durable metal mounting nut provides a secure, leak-free installation. Please verify your radiator valve specifications before purchase.
Warm Tip: Zigbee 2MQTT and comparable third-party USB dongles are not officially supported by Aqara. Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.
