IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Our cookware is made with a hybrid stainless steel surface. Stainless steel distributes heat very evenly and also retains heat very well. Because of this strong heat retention, if the pan or oil becomes too hot, it can quickly exceed the point where food begins to scorch, causing instant sticking or burning on the bottom. Here’s the recommended method for best results: Proper Preheating Method: 1/ Wash and fully dry the cookware. 2/ Place the pan on the stove and heat over medium heat for 1–2 minutes.
How to test if it’s ready: 1/ You can carefully feel the heat rising near the pan using the back of your hand (without touching it). 2/ Or drop a few drops of water into the pan: 3/ If the water just sits and slowly rolls, the pan is not hot enough. 4/ If the water forms a single bead (like mercury) and glides smoothly around the pan, this means the pan has reached the ideal “hot pan” state. Next step: 1/ Lower the heat slightly. 2/ Pour out the water. 3/ Wipe away any remaining moisture. 4/ Then add your oil and allow it to heat briefly before adding food.
