(1) Fold the sheet when it’s semi-dry and press it with a heavy item.
(2) Spritz water on wrinkles after washing, then iron gently at low temperature.
(3) After wringing, stretch and air-dry the sheet on a rack.
3.Does a cotton bed sheet shrink easily?
Cotton fitted sheets are easy to shrink because water makes the plant fibers swell, especially with prolonged soaking. The shrinkage rate for pure cotton is up to 10%.
4.How to avoid severe shrinkage of cotton fitted sheets?
(1) Air dry, not tumble dry.
(2) Stretch when nearly dry.
(3) Wash in cold water (≤35°C).
(4) Iron at low heat (≤120°C).
