BAMBOO PALM – The Dypsis Lutescens commonly known as the Areca or Bamboo palm is an evergreen palm that produces a cluster of erect stems that can reach 8m in height. Each pinnate leave with linear leaflets can grow to 2m in length.
AIR PURIFYING – This plant is ideal for home or offices due to its air purifying properties and being very low maintenance. It can tolerate cooler temperatures and dry air conditioned environments. It loves to be situated in bright indirect sunlight and does best in an East or West facing position.
WATERING – As the Drypsis is a tropical plant they enjoy a lot of water. Allowing the top layer of soil to dry out before rewatering will prevent it becoming water logged and the roots to develop root rot.
