Important Usage Guidelines

For Testing & Setup:​ Always unroll the strip before testing to prevent overheating and damage.

Damage resulting from testing the product while it remains in its packaging or without proper ventilation for heat dissipation is not eligible for our service or a replacement

Why is there no adhesive backing?

For a more secure installation, we provide 1 clip per meter (screws not included). For adhesive mounting, please use your own heavy-duty double-sided tape.

Why isn’t my strip lighting up?

The connection may have loosened during transit. First, try reconnecting the power cable. If that doesn’t work, test the other end of the strip (each meter is independent). If both ends fail, the issue may be with the power cable

Why does the COB neon strip get hot when it’s running?

Yes, mild warmth is normal. This COB strip has 288 LEDs per meter – higher density means some heat. No LED is 100% efficient; 30–50% of energy becomes heat. The silicone surface spreads warmth evenly.

Safe range: under 60°C (140°F).

I want to use this strip outdoors. What do I need to do to make it weatherproof?

The strip is NOT pre-sealed. To use it outdoors (rain, sprinklers, humidity), you MUST manually seal: Both ends of the strip and Any cut points (if you cut the strip). You can use waterproof silicone sealant or hot glue gun (low temperature)

What happens if I don’t seal the ends and use it outside in the rain?

Water enters through unsealed ends or cut points, causing short circuits, flickering, copper corrosion, and permanent damage. This is user-caused damage, not a product defect. For dry indoor use only if not sealed.
