What is SmartStart?

SmartStart technology incorporates a temperature sensor built into the non-stick coating of the pan. Once the frying pan reaches an optimum temperature of 200°C the SmartStart logo will turn to a dark red.

SmartStart Classic pans feature a 3-layer Aeroglide non-stick coating that is 3 times stronger compared to standard Tower non stick coatings, providing ultimate protection and performance

Are the pans dishwasher safe?

The Aeroglide non-stick coating makes the pan dishwasher safe and easy to clean but hand wash is recommended to keep the frying pan in perfect condition

Are the pans oven safe?

Yes, the SmartStart Classic range is oven safe up to 170°C for up to 40 minutes

Consisting of a 14cm milk pan with pouring lips for easy serving, 16cm/18cm saucepans & 20cm/24cm frying pans, you have the versatility to cook a variety of different pasta dishes or fluffy pancakes. The saucepans have tempered glass lids with steam vents, allowing for greater control over cooking, letting you take a peek without interrupting the cooking process
